INTERNATIONAL

 LAW

Almanac of international law  is an international scientific journal created for the development of scientific contacts between experts in the field of international law of both Ukraine and other states.

International Law Almanac is included in the List of Scientific Professional Editions of Ukraine in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 1188 dated September 24, 2020 (Category B) on the specialities 081. Law, 293. International law

 

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • The author, providing the editorial board of the Almanac of international law for publication, thereby agrees to post its full text both in the printed version of the journal and on the Internet on the official website of the publication – www.inlawalmanac.mgu.od.ua

  • The editors accept articles in Ukrainian, English, German, French and Polish.

  • Articles should not have grammatical or other errors, and should also correspond to the subject of the journal and the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine to specialized publications.

  • Submitted articles must be original, not previously published in other print and electronic publications. An article is accepted for consideration only on condition that it meets the requirements for the original copy of the articles (materials) posted on the journal’s website in the «Requirements».

  • All materials must be open. The presence of a restrictive neck serves as the basis for deviating material from an open publication.

  • Theme of the journal: theory and history of international law; international human rights law; diplomatic and consular law; law of international organizations; international maritime law; international humanitarian law; international criminal law; international environmental law; European Union law; private international law.

  • The editors receive and register DOI for articles.

 

ORDER OF SUBMISSION OF MATERIALS

To consider the publication of an article in the Іssue №31 of the Almanac of International Law, it is necessary to fill out author's online application form on the journal website before April 30, 2024 and send to an e-mail  Этот адрес электронной почты защищен от спам-ботов.   • manuscript of the article (file name shall be the last name of the author, e.g., Shevchenko);

  • scanned receipt of payment for publication (file name – last name of the author + word “payment”, for example, Shevchenko_payment).

 

PROCEDURE FOR ACCEPTANCE AND REVIEW OF THE ARTICLE

  • The article is registered by the secretary in the journal of registration of articles indicating the date of receipt, name, full name author/s, place of work of the author/s. 

  • The editorial board of the journal is authorized to carry out scientific and literary editing of the received materials, if necessary, reduce them by agreement with the author, or, if the subject of the article is of interest to the journal, send the article to the author for revision.

  • The editors reserve the right to reject an article that does not meet the established requirements or topics of the journal. In case of rejection of the submitted article, the editorial office gives the author a reasoned opinion.

 

ACADEMIC INTEGRITY

The Editorial Board guarantees high-quality anonymous peer-review of articles and their check for plagiarism using the software StrikePlagiarism.com developed by the Polish company Plagiat.pl.

 

PROHIBITION TO REFER TO THE AGGRESSOR STATE’S SCHOLARLY PAPERS

It is prohibited citing and including in the reference list russian-language contributions published in any country, incl. papers written in other languages but published in russia and belarus.

 

PUBLICATION FEE

The payment for the publication of the article in International Law Almanac is 1200 UAH for 12 pages. If the size of the article exceeds this number of pages, each next page costs 35 UAH. The publication fee covers expenses associated with reviewing, article proofreading and editing, journal mocking-up and publication of its electronic version.
If desired, an author can order a printed copy of the journal. The cost of a printed copy is UAH 800, which is paid in addition to the publication fee.

Journal electronic version will be available on the website on June 30, 2024.
Authors who ordered a printed copy will receive it before July 30, 2024.
